With only one game left for the Los Angeles Lakers, they will be preparing for the NBA playoffs. With Kobe Bryant out of the lineup, the Lakers were able to test their bench, and see unsuspected contributions across the board.
The bench better be ready now though, after the Lakers win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, they lost a leader and key contributor in Kobe’s absence. Metta World Peace was ejected for a nasty elbow to James Harden’s head.
Metta World Peace will likely be suspended for his actions, and could miss all of the first round. During the rest of this game, Devin Ebanks came up big, playing excellent defense, but playoff basketball is its own monster. It will be interesting how this second year player will respond, and how the Lakers handle the repercussions.
